The Associate of Science in General Science (ASGS) Degree provides the first two years of study for a student who plans to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree in science.
Students who want to major in a health science, such as nursing, pharmacy, dental hygiene, nuclear medicine imaging, radiography, physician’s assistant, physical or occupational therapy, may apply their associate’s degree requirements towards a degree in the areas mentioned.
Not all courses listed are required for admission to a program. Students are cautioned, however, to meet with a Student Services or science faculty advisor to ensure that the courses taken apply towards a particular health profession. |
