Channel Bed Elevation Survey with Sonar on Remote Boat

The sonar system and the remote boat are ready to survey channel bed elevation around the diversion dam.
For survey with the remote boat, gates should be raised to provide higher water depth to prevent being caught on a sand bar.
Recent discharge of the Rio Grande is stable (750 cfs) at the Paseo Del Norte Bridge.  See the hydrograph below.
Survey will precede in East side half of the channel first. Some of West side gates (probably #20-24) will be opened to keep the water depth.
Then, West side channel bed will be surveyed, while some of East side gates (#1-10) will be opened.
In this survey, we will test how far the boat can move upstream without any stuck on a sand bar.
Surveyed data will plot on the geo-rectified aerial image and will be used to generate a channel bed 3-D contour map.
