Current Opened Gate: #1, 2, and 23.

Gates #1, #2, and #23 lowered. Water level was measured 4995.25 ft upstream and 4993.88 ft downstream. Some debris stuck on the trash rack of the south intake bay following the river stream into the intake channel. It can be a dam operational issue for higher river diversion.

Surveying velocity and water depth from kayak was tried with UNM graduate students using propeller velocity meter and calibrated paddle stick.

Controlling the velocity meter on kayak was difficult. At most upstream area (at least 30 yards upstream from the diversion gates), water depth was less than 2.0 ft.
