Central Gate Opening for Removing Sand Bar on Middle Channel March 27

Current Opened Gate: #13~19.

Gates #13 ~19 were opened to remove sand bar placed on middle channel. 3.5 ft water depth was measured on PLC screen.

Figure 1 shows the sand bar (in green circle) placed in middle channel. The island has been grown up since last week.

Sediment deposited in the north intake bay was discharged with a pump to fish bypass (figure 2). One big fish was found in the south intake bay (figure 3).

Figure 4 shows one of LiDAR image taken by Tim and will be used for evaluation of eroded volume (in green circle).
