Diversion Gate Trial Operation April 18

Current Opened Gates: All gates fully opened

All gates were fully opened, and 2.2 ft water depth was measured on PLC screen. Water level was decreased at the Alameda bridge USGS gage station (Figure 1) and

approximately 1,200 cfs flow rate was measured at the Paseo Del Norte station.

Remote boat has been arrived at the diversion site (Figure 2). Interesting drying shape of sediment deposition (cohesive characteristic, maybe clay?) was found at the

south intake channel.

High sediment has been deposited front the intake structure and through the whole fish passage as shown in Figures 4-6.
