Remote
boat’s electric devices (Sonarlite and GPS system) were delivered to
Oceanscience to check connection between Sonarlite and GPS system.
No
GPS positions are exported from Sonarlite (echo sounder and data logger). Figure 1 shows measured data exporting using
“Sonar XP” computer program and ASCII format data.
Numbers
in red box (5th column) are water depth, and data and time are
following in the row. 2nd, 3rd,
and 4th columns should be GPS positions for latitude, longitude, and
altitude, but
just
zero values are exported. The GPS
system (Trimble DSM 232) is working correctly by itself. The coordination observed in LCD panel of
the GPS is correctly located at the intake
structure
as shown in Figure 2 (Google Earth).
Suspended
sediment sampling test was in progress with COA/WUA and URS engineers (Figure
3).
