Remote Boat Channel Bed Elevation Survey - July 25

Current Opened Gates: Opened gates # 21 and 22 for East side survey and gates #1~4 for West side survey

With the sonar on the remote boat, channel bed elevation was surveyed.  Echo sounder was not calibrated this morning caused by sediment deposition
on the concrete bed front of the Intake structure.  East side of the channel was surveyed, while gates #21 and 22 were lowered (blue colored dots in Figure 1).
Water depth was about 3.8 ft on PLC screen during this survey.  Survey covered up to jetty jacks on the east side bank as shown in Figure 2.
However, the remote boat can move upstream this section.  And then, west side of the channel was surveyed, while gates #1 to 4 were lowered
(red colored dots in Figure 1).  Water depth was slightly decreased 3.6 ft.  The west bank has not enough space to control the remote boat properly because
of the vegetated area green circle in Figure 2.  Survey sting was apart about 11 ft.
