Remote Boat Channel Bed Elevation Survey - August 8

Current Opened Gates: Automatic operation of middle section gates for 3.5 ft water depth

Channel bed elevation was surveyed using the remote boat with GPS system and sonar. Middle section gates were automatically operated to keep 3.5 ft water depth. 
GPS data was not lodging in the sonar.  Distance from water surface to channel bottom were obtained.
The river water was observed to have high turbidity and sediment. Safety bars were damaged by burglary during the last weekend as shown in Figure 2.
