West Channel Sand Bar Relocation 04-Feb-07

Figures 1 and 2 show sand bar relocation at the west side of the channel. Some of the deposited sand bars were washed away by the gate operation.

Water level was slightly lowered (4995.21 upstream and 4993.42 downstream) from last Friday (02-Feb) even though the observed water level was increased.

Flow transitions around the sediment vain were found because of the lower water depth.
