Bringing Writing to the Classroom, Creatively
A two-day institute for middle school and high school teachers of English and language arts. Time and space to read, write, think, and talk with other teachers and writers. Participants choose a subject and work with the same group throughout the Institute.
This year’s Conference on Writing will be held at the Hotel Albuquerque, adjacent to Old Town.

The Institute provides lunch on both days and breakfast on Sunday morning. We will accommodate participants at the Hotel Albquerque on Saturday night.
The Teachers’ Institute is free of charge to teachers working in New Mexico.
Teachers from outside New Mexico will be accommodated on a space available basis with a registration fee of $350.
