My primary telescope is an 8" f/7 newtonian. It has been optimized as a planetary telescope. It is mounted on a computerized goto altazimuth mount. This telescope was built in my own workshop with only basic woodworking tools that included a table saw, router, and drill press. The mount can be wheeled out of a storage shed on the wheels attached to the base plate. Total setup time is approximately 15 minutes.
