Professor Jane Slaughter received Dr. Slaughter received her BA in Spanish from Coe College, her MA in Latin American Studies and PhD in History at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Slaughter has taught at Inter American University in Puerto Rico, Nassau Community College and the University of Uath. She currently serves as the Director for Research in the Arts and Humanities in the Office of the Vice President for Research as well as Professor Emerita in the History Department.
