The SCRC (http://www.nps.gov/history/spca/Index.htm) partners with the National Park Service to facilitate research on the NPS’s Spanish Colonial Heritage Sites as well as sites in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and other Latin American countries to further the study of colonial Luso-Hispano history. The database collected and maintained by the SCRC provides an essential source of information for anyone interested in colonial Latin American history, and the SCRC publishes a quarterly journal, The Colonial Latin American Historical Review, to disseminate this scholarship. The partnership between UNM and the NPS also provides opportunities for national and international.
