Agora is a listening service. |
Sometimes it's hard to
talk about certain problems or issues with our family and friends.
As trained peer counselors, our volunteers are ready to provide
compassionate, non-judgmental listening for anything you want
to discuss. We won't tell you how to solve your problem, but we'll
help you figure out what options you might have. Our services
include a help-line and walk-in clinic.

Want to volunteer? |
Agora is one of the oldest crisis centers in the nation. Since our founding in 1970, our volunteers have been providing New Mexico with compassion and acceptance around the clock. Many of our members are students at the University of New Mexico, but we also welcome community volunteers. New volunteers are trained three times a year. If you're interested in joining Agora, call the center for additional information, or apply here on our website!
