SANDY MARIE RODRIGUE
Department Administrator

Sandy Rodrigue has been the American Studies department administrator since January, 2005. She joined the department after almost two years in the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Office. As the only full-time staff member in the department, Sandy is responsible for many of the behind-the-scenes functions of the department.

Among her many tasks are balancing the department's budget, making sure classes are scheduled, and acting as liaison between American Studies and multiple other offices across campus. She is most proud of the work she has done, and continues to do, with graduate students as they progress through their programs of study. Sandy also started her own graduate program as a Master's student in Public Administration, which takes up a great deal of her non-working time.
