Scholarship Information for the College of Arts and Sciences

Thanks to the generosity of many donors, the College of Arts and Sciences offers several scholarships to its students. Scholarships are awarded each spring for the following academic year. We will begin accepting applications for the 2009-10 academic year in January 2009.

To be considered for any of these scholarships, you must be enrolled and currently attending at the time of application. Each scholarship has specific eligibility requirements. Many scholarships require demonstrated financial need.

To establish need, you must fill out a FAFSA by July 15 at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

The Dean’s Office of the College, assisted by the College Scholarship Award Committee, chooses recipients for College scholarships. Scholarship awards are administered by the UNM Scholarship Office. Notification of awards will be sent to all applicants on or around July 15.
