NOTE - All authors must register, attend the conference, and present their paper in order for their paper to be published in the
Conference Proceedings. Please follow the formatting instructions below carefully, so that the proceedings will have a consistent look and feel. Please see the Sample Paper to view the overall appearance of the required format.

 

Session Number

The session number is very important and must be included on the title page of your paper. Leave it as you find it in the Sample Paper. It will be filled in at a later time once the proceedings are being put together.

The session number must be:

•  located in the upper right-hand corner of the title page
•  right justified
•  a 12 point, bold font

Title of Paper

The title must be:

•  centered
•  two lines below the session number
•  a 14 point, bold font

Authors and Affiliations

The name(s) of the author(s) must be:

•  centered
•  two lines below the title
•  a 12 point, bold font
•  names must be separated by commas (if names exceed two lines they should be continued as one paragraph with no hard carriage returns)

The affiliation(s) must be:

•  centered
•  one line below the author name(s)
•  a 12 point font, single-spaced

Abstract

The abstract must be:

•  the word Abstract must be two lines below the affiliation(s), centered and a 14 point bold font
•  the abstract text is two lines below the word Abstract
•  clearly indicated with a centered heading (see heading guidelines below)
•  the abstract text is a 12 point font, single-spaced
•  the abstract text should be fully justified

Footer

•  only one footer is allowed per page and it is the one found in the Sample Paper. For this footer, the text must be as follows:
•  centered
•  italic
•  a 10 point font
•  on every page

 

Body of the Paper

The body begins on the first page, two lines below the abstract and
continues on subsequent pages. Sections in the body should follow the formatting for the abstract section.

 

Headings

Section headings should follow the format shown below. There must be one space (blank line) between a Level One Heading and its paragraph. No blank lines follow a Level Two Heading or a Level Three Heading.

Level One Heading (Centered, 14 point, bold)

Level Two Heading (Left justified, 12 point, bold)

Level Three Heading (Left justified, 12 point)  

 

References

The references or bibliography section must be:

•  two lines below the body
•  clearly numbered in a list format, left justified and single-spaced
•  a 10 point font

Please type the corresponding reference number in superscript form when referring to them in the text of the paper. See Sample Paper.

Biographical Information

The biography must:

•  be two lines below the references
•  have each author's name in capital letters, followed by up to four
lines of single-spaced text
•  have one blank line between each author listed
•  be a 10 point font

 

Figures/Tables

The figures and/or tables should be:

•  centered
•  use large fonts in them, preferably 12 points at the least, and use thick lines for curves
•  clearly numbered in the order they appear in the text
•  the figure or table captions should be center justified, single-spaced, and a 10 point font
