Student Paper Competition

A Student Paper Competition will be held during the Student Poster Session in the conference. Three monetary awards for the Best Student Paper Awards will be presented to the top three winners.

The conference is seeking student technical papers in any engineering discipline. The e-mail message accompanying the submission of a student abstract/paper should clearly indicate that the principal author is a student (since papers of a purely technical nature will not be accepted from non-students). Abstract only submissions, i.e. without an accompanying paper, by student co-authors are not possible.

The lead/first author on Student Technical Paper(s) needs to be a student. Other co-authors can be faculty members, staff, other students, or other professionals. Also, students participating in the conference with a student technical paper(s) will have to present their paper(s) in a Student Poster Session in order to compete for the Best Student Paper Awards. The Student Poster Session is reserved for the presentation of Student Technical Papers. Students participating in the conference with a technical paper only but not participating in the Student Poser Session can do so but are not eligible for the Best Student Paper Awards. Only a student co-author can present a poster in the Student Paper Competition.

Posters must fit on a 40 inch by 60 inch foam-core board. Easels and push-pins will be provided.
