Presidential Duties:
• Attend Regent meetings and express
Student Voice
• Attend Senate meetings and deliver
Presidential Report
• Appoints all ASUNM Executive &
Judicial Personnel
• Oversee 7 Student Service Agencies:
      • Community Experience
      • Crafts Studio
      • Elections Commission
      • Lobo Spirit
      • Lobby Committee
      • Southwest Film Center
      • Student Special Events
• Chairs the Student Fee Review board which allocates $5.5 million of student fees to various student services across campus.
• Sits on UNM Planning Council
• Sits on UNM Budget Sub-committee
• Sits on UNM Student Union Building Board
• Sits on UNM Library Student Advisory Council
• Consults monthly with Admnistration including Vice President for Student Affairs, Vice President of Advancement, Vice President of Business and Finance, Provost, and Dean of Students.
• Meets with President of the University
• Speaks at functions such as Freshman Convocation, Senior Day, and Albuquerque Star Scholar Program
• Meets monthly with other Regent Advisors
• Convene monthly meetings with Executive Agency Directors
• Convene monthly meetings with Executive Cabinet (President, Vice President, Attorney General, Presidential Aide, and Webmaster)
Goals:
• Make sure student opinion is heard and students are consulted on any decision effecting them
• Implement a written Review Week and include it in Faculty Handbook
• Work on increasing open recreation hours in Johnson Center
• Keep tuition increase as low as possible
• Provide diverse programming for student body
• Elevate school spirit
• Listen to student concerns
