Senate

The Senate is composed of twenty elected undergraduates, ten of who are elected in the spring semester and ten who are elected in the fall semester. The Senate makes laws, issues resolutions, prepares a budget, appropriates funds, and approves presidential appointments. Each semester the Senate elects a president pro-tempore from its ranks to serve as its elected leader. Each senator serves on one of the three standing committees.
