There will be five types of classroom activities: lecturing, viewing of video tapes, in-class experimentations/demonstration, students discussions, and weekly quizzes. Although students discussions are not graded, your active participation will be taken into account when your final grades are at border lines. Quizzes will be given at the beginning of the lectures. The quiz usually involves a total of three multiple choice questions.
