ATRI Students

ATRI greatly values the contribution of ideas and the academic abilities of University of New Mexico students who maintain an interest in the diverse aspects of transportation research. ATRI  staff have expressed the positive relationships that occur when  students are engaged in the day-to-day research programs, and the quality of work they provide. ATRI students have backgrounds in various disciplines, ranging from the physical sciences to business. The Institute will continue to work in conjunction with the University of New Mexico and the students provided to us.

Graduate Student Program

In 1997 ATRI formally developed its Graduate Student Program which harnesses the talents of bright, progressive students who augment research capabilities while enhancing their own interdisciplinary education.  ATRI recruits students at both graduate and undergraduate levels in various disciplines in keeping with ATRI's interdisciplinary perspective to all its research.
