These profiles, in PDF format, come from PowerPoint presentations given in January 2003 describing the historic and current economic and demographic characteristics of the each of the ten counties comprising the Northern Area of New Mexico. Graphics and tables included in these presentations describe population change and composition; labor force and occupation characteristics; earnings, income and poverty trends; and analyses of employment changes in specific industry sectors.
These presentations are designed for use in town hall style meetings and to engage the public/citizens in meaningful strategy sessions to plan for future economic development and workforce development efforts in their communities.
