* Five cities with the most lodgers' tax receipts in FY 2005. Though some county governments have
instituted lodgers' taxes, collections in each of these counties were less than the receipts in
     the top-five cities.

** Three parks with the most visitors in 2005.

1/ Figures for tourism-related industries reflect total receipts or total employment in the industries
and not just the receipts or employment dependent on tourism or travel.

2/ Includes liquor dispensers by the drink.

3/ Dollar amounts have not been adjusted for inflation. They are expressed in current or nominal terms.

4/ Data are by fiscal year. Changes in lodgers' tax receipts partially reflect changes in tax rates.

5/ Beginning in July 1, 2004, Albuquerque data include receipts from the Hospitality Fee Act and
Santa Fe data include receipts from the Convention Center Funding Act.

6/ Prior to March 1995, Navajo Pine, Navajo Sims, and Navajo San Juan River were combined to create
    the total for Navajo Lake.
