| Library Associations Visual Resources Association (VRA) - an organization established to further research and education in the field of visual resources. Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) - a society that takes the leadership role in providing resources and services for the visual arts and architecture information community. Visual Resources Division (VRD) - a division of ARLIS/NA whose members are interested in documentation of the visual arts. Special Libraries Association (SLA) - an association of librarians dedicated to putting specialized information to work to attain the specific goals of their organizations including museums, colleges and universities. American Indian Library Association (AILA) - a library community action group committed to disseminating information about Indian cultures, languages, values, and information needs to the larger library community. Visual Arts and Architecture Associations College Art Association (CAA) - an organization established to promote excellence in scholarship and teaching in the history and criticism of the visual arts and in creativity and technical skill in the teaching and practices of art. Computers and the History of Art (CHArt) - a society of individuals interested in the application of computers to the research and study of the visual arts and design. Art History Webmasters Association (AHWA) - a group that aims to provide art historians with working research and communication tools and structures in the visual arts. Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) - a society that encourages scholarly research in the field of architectural history and promotes the preservation of significant architectural monuments that are an integral part of our worldwide historical and cultural heritage.
