listserv

To be added to the Club listserv, you only need to send a message to the Club e-mail address with your name and e-mail address. It is also possible to sign up at Club events; just inform an officer. The Club intends to limit the number of messages to the list so that members don't feel spammed.

Rules for Sending to the listserv

1. For those that want to send a message to the listserv, the officers intend to limit the number of messages to the list to one message per week. Thus, if someone has a message please send it to brazil@unm.edu. The weekly message will be sent Sundays or Mondays. In case the message is urgent, listserv messages are still permitted (clubebrasil-l@list.unm.edu) but the officers ask that the author send the message to be contained inside the weekly message. This change comes about because of the fact that some subscribers ask to be removed from the list if there is more than one message in a given week.
2. The listserv is moderated and thus all messages are subject to approval by the officers.
3. The message should be in Portuguese and English, or in English only, since not everyone is fluent in Portuguese.
4. The message should have something to do with the Club.
