Hypotheses for each Independent Variable

Hypotheses for women who are married:

  1. They will be more conservative politically (less likely to vote for a woman for president, less in favor of government efforts to promote women’s rights).
  2. They will favor of traditional family and sex roles (women as stay-at-home moms).
  3. They will be less likely to believe that women experience workplace discrimination.

Hypotheses for women who do not work outside the home:

  1. They will be more conservative politically (less likely to vote for a woman for president, less in favor of government efforts to promote women’s rights).
  2. They will favor of traditional family and sex roles (women as stay-at-home moms).
