Rose arrived at habitation 3 to find Mr. Jefferson, Danny, and Ida all but pacing in the room. She had to cover her mouth, she tasted bile, when she looked up at the Doctor’s words to find Scooti’s body floating above the dome. She glanced at the woman near her. Though Ida’s face was mostly hidden by the angle, Rose saw the color had drained from her face. They had been together, she knew. She’d seen the matching rings hanging from around their necks. She was amazed Ida’s voice was under control as she spoke before closing the outer dome.
