Ten minutes ago, Vala had been very busy distracting
and annoying
SG-1’s archeologist. She loved to torment him with innuendo in
front
of his colleagues. She knew he didn’t really mind, not when ll
the
base thought that she and he were an item. They just didn’t know any
better.
Ten minutes ago, Vala had been called away.
She had reported to
her quarters. Now she sat and waited. She watched the
blonde in the
doorway backing into the room, leading a gray metal cart.
“Your supposed to close your eyes.” Sam said,
catching Vala
admiring the way she filled out her BDU’s. Vala sighed and closed
her
eyes. When Sam gave her the okay, she opened her eyes to see the
cart
in front of her, on top sat a box shaped object covered by a small
blanket.
“Ready?” The colonel asked. Vala
nodded. “Surprise!” Sam pulled
the clothe off the object. Vala looked at what had lain
underneath,
raised an eyebrow, and looked back up at Sam. “What? You don’t
like
him?” The blonde’s face fell.
“What is it?” Vala asked.
“It’s a bunny! You said you wanted a pet that
was like you…” Sam’s voice trailed off.
“You think I have big droopy ears.”
“No!”
“So I have big feet.”
“No!”
“I smell.” Vala laughed as Sam threw her head
back and groaned.
She got up and went to her, pulling Sam into her embrace and swaying
with her. “I’m joking. I think he’s adorable.”
“Really?”
“Really.” Vala said and leaned in to kiss the
other woman. Sam pulled back at the last second.
“Because you know, rabbits are cute, soft, and they
bounce and
that’s why I picked them…” Vala placed a finger on Sam’s lips.
“And they scratch and fall completely unconscious
after they’ve had
fantastic sex.” The brunette winked. “Now if you don’t kiss
me, I’ll
have to start scratching.” Vala dug her fingernails into the
fabric at
Sam’s lower back for emphasis.
