Cynthia Brinich-Langlois is currently teaching printmaking, foundations, digital, and drawing at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, after completing an MFA in printmaking from the University of New Mexico in 2008. While attending UNM, she participated in Land Arts of the American West and the Tamarind Institute’s Collaborative Lithography program. During the summer of 2007, she completed a residency at Elsewhere Artists Collaborative. Originally from Alaska, Brinich-Langlois completed a BA at Kenyon College with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Environmental Biology. In her prints, Brinich-Langlois combines various techniques and media to create layered representations of the natural world.
