The goal of the CEP Peer Mentor/Tutor Program is to help incoming freshmen have a successful transition to UNM! In essence, this is a student-leadership-training program for upperclassmen wishing to have a positive impact on freshmen. Peer Mentor/Tutors will assist professors within select Introductory Studies (IS) classrooms (English & Math 100). CEP is now accepting applications for 2009-2010 Peer Mentor/Tutors. We coordinate the most comprehensive new student orientation program at UNM. Our goal is to prepare incoming students for a successful university experience. Orientation participants spend three days and two nights on campus, so they get to experience what life is like at UNM. Get more info...
