| Our 1st point of contact with the College community, Chris, a Systems Analyst I, is a senior hardware and software technician. If your printer isn’t printing, or your computer tells you it’s run out of memory, or your word processor application locks up, Chris is the one for you. He comes to CFA from UNM’s High Performance Computing Center and the College of Engineering. He has degrees in Science and Electronics Technology from several universities in France. | Mario, our Systems Analyst III, is here to help with the design of new directions in CFA computing. Whether the job calls for a single workstation or a classroom of multi-media computers, scanners, printers, and/or digital video and audio authoring devices, Mario will consult with you to find the optimum balance between cost, quality, and performance. Mario brings more than a dozen years of UNM experience from the General Library system along with audio and computer engineering at KNME. | Karl is the Sr. LAN Administrator for CFA. It is his job to provide and maintain connectivity between and among computers and network servers within the College, around the Campus, and out on the Internet. Karl also assists in the creation and support of multi-user database systems for general accounting, library cataloging, and gallery sales. He spent 10 years in UNM’s Biology department designing, installing, and maintaining research networks and databases. |
