About Me

Prior to living in Northern New Mexico, I have called several places home including (in reverse chronological order) London, Seattle, Athens (Greece) and Boston. I grew up in Maryland. I earned my MA from the University of Washington, following a BA from Boston University, both in classics. I have visited nearly every classical site between Crete and Hadrian's Wall.

In addition to appreciating the high-minded comedy of Aristophanes, I am also obsessed with design and typography. When I'm not in front of a computer, I like to spend as much time as possible outside: hiking, climbing, camping, cycling, skiing and traveling. Occasionally, I write about my adventures; I always take a lot of photos.
