Course Objectives

  1. To acquire a basic understanding of Latin grammar and vocabulary.
  2. To read and understand basic Latin sentences or short passages.
  3. To accurately translate basic Latin sentences or short passages into standard English.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Identify and/or produce various forms of Latin nouns and adjectives.
  2. Identify the form of Latin verbs.
  3. Accurately translate basic Latin sentences into standard English.
