Awards are offered to outstanding students wishing to pursue the MM or the MME. Waivers are awarded for performance in the UNM Wind Symphony and Chamber Winds and cover the full cost of tuition.

UNM Wind Symphony and Chamber Winds The UNM Wind Symphony has performed at the Southwest Conference of the College Band Directors National Association and was recently selected to perform at the national conference of CBDNA in February 1999. Comprised of approximately 45 musicians, the Wind Symphony and Chamber Winds routinely feature world class guest artists and commission and premiere new works for wind ensemble. 3954
