Vernomanus (Digitized from the original photographs) These
time-lapse photographs capture the movement of three specimens from emergence
to maturity. Produced in the 1940s by an amateur scientist/photographer,
they are the only known examples of the growth pattern of the now extinct
long-stemmed Vernomanus. |
