Aerosol Synthesis Laboratory

Capabilities:
Facilities include TSI 3076 Atomizers, ultrasonic generators, a TSI 3450 Vibrating Orifice Aerosol Generator (VOAG), and a spray dryer. The TSI 3076 provides droplets of diameter 1 micron and smaller with relatively narrow distribution, the ultrasonic generators produce droplets of several micron mean diameter, also with relatively narrow distribution, and the VOAG produces highly monodisperse droplets in the 10-100 micron range.
