Conventional financial aid (such as Student Loans) is available. Contact UNM financial aid advisors for information and financial aid forms. All student loans or grants paying the institute fee and/or room and board fee must do so through the UNM cashier by May 15. Students are responsible for timely financial aid payments and should act early.
A limited number of CONEXIONES travel stipends are available for University Honors Program students through the UHP. The stipends are designed to encourage and reward excellence as well as address needs. They are competitive. Application deadline is April 28.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the Early Application Deadline of February 1, 2008. This guarantees a place in the program and, if students are accepted, they will have time to apply for grants offered by the Office of International Programs and Studies (OIPS). OIPS offers “Regents’ International Study Grants” in order to encourage participation in study abroad programs. The application deadline for these grants is February 15, 2008. Visit the OIPS website for more information and to download the application form: www.unm.edu/~oips
