The Antiguo Convento de San Francisco El Real

The Antiguo Convento de San Francisco el Real was built in the15th century, utilizing part of the defensive wall. Eight noblewomen decided to found the Franciscan convent. The convent fell into incredible disrepair after the Napoleanic army sacked Trujillo in the 1800's.
