Tuition and Fees
The Conexiones Program fee is $2450 plus a $300 deposit due after application approval (the deposit is non-refundable). The Conexiones fee covers room and board for approximately 30 days in Spain.
In Salamanca, participants will stay in a reasonably priced hotel, and in Trujillo they will be placed with local families accustomed to boarding Conexiones students. The fee also covers all program-related travel in Spain, including transportation from and to Madrid airport and day excursions (La Alberca and a Bull ranch in Salamanca, Cáceres, Mérida, Guadalupe, and Alburquerque), costs of local Spanish guest speakers, the Conexiones Cuaderno, and entry fees to museums and cultural events.
In addition, students will pay UNM tuition. Out-of-state students should note that non-resident summer tuition is the same as resident tuition.
While the cost of participating in Conexiones might seem steep, students are encouraged to take advantage of the many forms of travel stipends and scholarships available!
