Mac Notes

Macs have a terminal built in. Select Finder, then Applications, then
Terminal. When the terminal prompt appears, enter: ssh user@linux.unm.edu
where user is your UNM account name (NetID). When the first connection is
made you will be asked to accept an authorization to access linux.unm.edu.
Answer yes. If connection is successful, you will be asked to enter your
UNM account password. If successful, you will be running at UNM.
The above should work on the Macs at UNM. If you bring your own Mac,
note that the wireless airport connection may not work. One student was
successful, however, using a physical Ethernet cable plugged into their
Mac.
