These pages document my attempt to make a baroque lute.
My guide in this endeavor has been David van Edwards's internet course "Build Your Own Baroque Lute!" as described here:
http://www.vanedwards.co.uk/course.htm

I am also much indebted to Raleigh Williams, a good friend with experience making musical instruments, who has been kind enough to offer good advice and the use of his woodworking shop.

My work on the project has, for various reasons, been somewhat sporadic, and my picture taking even more so. There are some gaps in the photo documentation, partly due to at least one roll of film being ruined.
