George W. was born on May 8, 1854 in Exeter Twp., Berks Co., Pa. He was a member of the firm of Brumbach Bros., owning and operating the Exeter Woolen Mills at Esterly, Pa. Dec. 26, 1876 he married Fietta Rohrbach, born Nov. 13, 1859, in Reading, Pa. She was the daughter of Nathan and Fietta (Wentzel) Rohrbach.

They had four children:

1. Mabel, born Oct. 5, 1877; died June 15, 1899.

2. William Murray, born July 23, 1879 in St. Lawrence, Pa. On Nov. 28,
1907, he married Elsie Spotts, born Aug. 15, 1881. She was the daughter
of David and Elizabeth (Goheen) Spotts, address Esterly, Pa. They had
one son, George Edward, born July 22, 1911.

3. Annie Rebecca born Sept. 1, 1881.

4. Belle Etta, born May 13, 1886; died July 2, 1902.
