******Isaac De Turck Brumbach 1818 - 1896Isaac was born on Jan 26, 1818 and died in 1896. He followed farming and also operated a sawmill. His farm of 80 acres ws situated in Oley Twp. His death took place at Friedensburg and he was buried at Oley Church. He was prominent in the affairs of his section for years served as a school director.
On Oct. 7, 1849 he married (1) Rachel Hoch, daughter of Gideon and Susanna Wiedner Hoch; she died on Nov. 6, 1896. Isaac married (2) Mary Ann (De Turck) Geiger, born April 19, 1828 and died April 26, 1908. She was the daughter of Jacob De Turck.
Isaac had four children by the first marriage:
1. Ezra Hoch Brumbach, born Nov. 28, 1851 in Oley Twp., Berks Co., Pa.;
married Emaline R. Meck, born Aug, 26, 1856; daughter of Josiah and Catharine Meck
Rohrbach Meck Brumbach; laborer; Democrat; member Ref. Church; address, Oley, Berks Co., Pa., R. R. 3. The had three children:
(1) Agnes R. C. M., born April 4, 1886; married Jonas W. Frame.
(2) Calvin Isaac Brumbach, born July 8, 1887; died Feb. 20, 1897.
(3) Henry Willson Brumbach, born May 15, 1890.
2. Jacob Hoch Brumbach, died young.
3. Deborah Susanna, born March 9, 1854. She married William P.
Schollenberger; miller, ad. New Berlinville, Pa. They had four
children surname Schollenberger: Clinton, William, Mary Stella and Agnes Rachel.
