UNM
E-Mail Assignment & Grading Criteria
You may sign up for a UNM e-mail account from any of the campus computer pods by logging on to the CIRT website (http://www.unm.edu/cirt/accts/index.html#access) and following the instructions from there to “create your UNM NetID”.
You will need to provide the following
information on-line:
1. Your Date
of Birth and your 9-digit UNM-ID Number (SSN).
2. A NetID (it
will be part of your e-mail address, like ‘devalenz’ is mine).
3. A Password
(your secret code to log on with).
You will need at least 24 hours for your account to become active, so that means that you must set up your account no later than Tuesday morning, February 10th, for your account to be active in time to send me an e-mail by the due date.
Please come to my office hours if you are
having problems setting up your account and we can do it together. No points
will be awarded for e-mail accounts set up after the deadline. My e-mail
reply will count as your verification of having completed this assignment,
so make sure you print a copy of my e-mail reply to you. If you do not
get a reply from me, that means that your message did not go through.
