    Topic: Lesson planning - Let's go through it by the numbers
    4:20 - 5:05 Interactive presentation: What's the plan to get your students where you want them to go?
    5:05 - 5:35 professional development snapshots: Gabi, Jeff, Jon-Carl 
    5:35 - 6:15 small group activity: 
    1. Within each small group, follow the steps provided in the order described during the instructor presentation to develop a lesson plan. 
    2. Use one of your backward design plans to generate an idea for a lesson plan. 
    3. Use this opportunity to help each other brainstorm ways to address purpose, IEP goals, and standards within a single lesson.
    4. By 6:15 be prepared to share your lesson plan with the rest of the class.
    6:15 - 6:45 report back to whole group & discuss
    6:45 - 6:50 minute paper
    .
    Announcement:Please bring at least 1 assessment instrument (i.e. checklist, rating scale, rubric, observation protocol, task analysis data collection form) with you to class next week.
