	Announcements and Quick questions and quandaries: Your rough draft is due the week after Spring Break. Don't delay in getting started. UNM Spring Break is the week after next – not the same as APS (sorry!). Don’t forget to make an appointment if you have questions about your assignments, want to go over ideas, or just want to chat.
	Interactive presentation: Nativist modesl of SLA -- focus on Cummins.
	Quick write: "What are the most important concepts you have learned about theories of language development as a result of the readings and class discussions to date?"
	Nativist perspectives on language development.Small group activity:  Using the handouts provided in class, create a sample lesson by changing the context-reduced tasks to context-embedded.
