These photos were taken on November 14, 2002, on a "class field trip" to look at how course participants and their colleagues are using classroom-based assessment. There is an emphasis on rubric, graphic organizers, and graphing on a school-wide basis. The pictures included here are:

- A primary grade self assessment writing checklist.
- A classroom behavior graph
- A KWL chart in Spanish, for a bilingual first grade classroom
- Student developed statements of what it mean to "be ready to learn" and student developed learning goals (in Spanish)

All of the readings can be accessed with Adobe Reader as pdf files. You can open each of the file and print them. You can also copy the files to your hard drive (go to "file" and "save as").
