APRIL
2002
In April, gardens around
town really start going -- flowering trees (peach, pear, cherry, apple)
are blooming and later bulbs are still around (grape hyacinth, late daffodils,
and lots of tulips) at the beginning of the month. Most trees and shrubs
really begin leafing out in April. April is also IRIS time in Albuquerque.
At the end of the month, the earliest roses also start blooming.
