RetuRn to Julia's Secret Garden
.
May 2002May is rose time! As a certifiable rose freak, this is one of my favorite times of year. Late irises are still blooming and other Spring flowers, like penstemon, start coming on strong. The heat starts up, too, along with dry winds, so sometimes the blossoms of non-xeric plants (like roses) end up looking like they have been freeze-dried, right on the bush. But what can I say, no matter what, it is gorgeous here!
